Connect Muse Code.
Thalia drives Meta’s Muse Code CLI on your Mac. Muse Code is provided by Meta and is separate from Thalia.
Install the CLI
If the Muse Code CLI isn’t installed, setup installs it from Meta and checks the download first. Thalia downloads only from Meta, refuses an unexpected file, and puts Meta’s launcher in ~/.local/bin.
Sign in with your Meta account in your browser, or paste a Meta Model API key. Thalia hands a key to the CLI, which stores it, and clears the field. Meta Managed Accounts must use an API key.
You need your own Muse Code access; Meta sets any Muse Code subscription or usage charges.
What setup checks
Setup checks three things: the CLI is installed, you are signed in, and a host actually connects. You can open it again from the composer’s Set up… button or from Settings.
Without Muse Code
Chatting and running routines need Muse Code connected. You can still organize projects and chats, use checkpoints, save routines and manage local skills.
