Terms of Use

These terms cover the Thalia app for macOS. By installing or using Thalia, you agree to them.

Your license

Mabry Ventures LLC grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Thalia on Macs you own or control. Thalia is proprietary software: you may not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense or modify it, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows this despite these terms.

Free to start

Thalia is free to start. We may offer paid plans or features in the future. If something you use would start to cost money, we will tell you before it does, and nothing is charged without your agreement.

Muse Code and other services

Thalia works with the Meta Muse Code CLI, which you install and sign in to yourself. Your use of Muse Code, and anything it costs, is between you and Meta under Meta’s terms. The same applies to services you connect, such as Linear or GitHub. Thalia is not made or endorsed by Meta.

Your work

Your code, files, chats and settings are yours. Thalia keeps them on your Mac and claims no ownership of them. Muse and your connected services handle the data you send them under their own terms.

Agents change files

Thalia runs an AI agent that can read and change files and run commands in the folders you give it, within the permissions you choose. Its output can be wrong. Review changes before you rely on them, and keep backups. Thalia’s checkpoints help you undo changes, but they are not a backup.

Updates

Thalia can check for and install updates. Updates are covered by these terms unless they come with their own.

Open-source components

Thalia includes open-source components under their own licenses. They are listed in the app under Settings › About › Acknowledgements.

No warranty

Thalia is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Mabry Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of Thalia. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Thalia in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending the license

You can stop using Thalia at any time by deleting it. We may end your license if you break these terms. The sections on warranties and liability continue after it ends.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its date, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app before they apply.
